Located in the High Desert region of Mohave County in Arizona, the Kingman Memory Care & ALF sits on 4.8 acres near the Kingman Regional Medical Center. Native plants and locally quarried rock combine to anchor the Hacienda style building to the site, reflecting the local vernacular.
The 9,000 s.f. Outer Courtyard is filled with native plantings and contains a large outdoor gathering plaza, raised garden beds and intimate seating areas nestled by short dry stack walls; it features a dry swale or arroyo which meanders the length of the space, and is enclosed on three sides by the 75-unit ALF. A 2,500 s.f. Inner Courtyard is designed to be an oasis filled with familiar flowering plants and trees, serving the 20-Unit Memory Care wing.
