Red Rock Center

Tigard, Oregon


The Red Rock Center was originally a commercial shopping center with numerous leased spaces planned in the Tigard Triangle area.  Since the development slow down it has been refocused to provide Medical and Dental Offices, Drive in Banking and flex space.  The Landscaping needed to address the sensitive wetlands at the corner of SW 72nd Avenue and Haines while creating a special point of entry intersection for that Triangle.

Redmond Central Fire Station

The City of Redmond was developing a new Central Fire Station in the center of the city to consolidate and update the existing stations. MEPpc, was responsible for the irrigation and planting for the Central Oregon site. We utilized drought and cold tolerant plantings to achieve a sustainable landscape over time.

Located in Sisters, Oregon – the South Valley Bank & Trust displays a drought tolerant landscape that closely resembles the native forest that surrounds the City of Sisters. Site features include multiple bioswales for stormwater treatment and Large Ponderosa Pines that were protected during construction to provide habitat for wildlife.

Mountain View Hospital – Addition

Madras, Oregon



Mountain View Hospital undertook a new addition and remodel of the existing building and acute care unit in Madras, Oregon.  Our approach was to update the appearance of the grounds to reflect the Central Oregon landscape in a sustainable way.  Our careful selection of native, cold and drought tolerant plants, local broken top stone  and river rock helped to mimic the surrounding landscape.  Rooftop runoff was dropped into a naturalized creek bed which flowed into dry wells.

ON THE BOARDS

As the Landscape Architects for this six-acre site, we provided drawings for a fire pit patio, putting green, reflection pond, two entry water features, and the general site landscaping. Our designs balanced the Cape Cod style architecture of the building and the native landscape of the Willamette River area.
