Portland’s historic downtown library is now a “green building”. We began by conducting a feasibility evaluation on tray and unit type green roof construction products. Our final design for the green roof included a 3-inch thick tray system with built-in irrigation. The plant palette included a variety of extremely drought tolerant sedums.
Hospice of Washington County: We prioritized therapeutic landscape elements to create spaces of respite and reflection for patients, family, and staff.
Brookings Medical Center:
Site features included a “stormwater feature”, which will replicate a natural stream bed with multiple water falls; a healing garden located adjacent to the main lobby, which will serve as a viewing garden and outdoor gathering space; and an outdoor patio space for staff.
