Our goal for this mixed-use project was to transform the existing brownfield- previously home to Albina Fuel – into a space that inspires community, sustainability and work/life balance. Landscape elements include a park that links to a future bike trail, intensive rooftop gardens, stormwater flow through planters, and urban streetscape enhancements.
Hospice of Washington County: We prioritized therapeutic landscape elements to create spaces of respite and reflection for patients, family, and staff.
Brookings Medical Center:
Site features included a “stormwater feature”, which will replicate a natural stream bed with multiple water falls; a healing garden located adjacent to the main lobby, which will serve as a viewing garden and outdoor gathering space; and an outdoor patio space for staff.
